Implementation of TCM NC program Has Been Discussed at Rusatom Energy International
 

Rusatom Energy International's top managers and TCM NC's executive team held a meeting on December 24, 2019. Representatives of RAOS Project Oy, JSC Akkuyu Nuclear, JSC ASE EC, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2/JV joined the meeting via videoconference.

The meeting summarized the results of the joint work on the implementation of the Program in the outgoing year and discussed future development plans.

Irina Tripolets, Advisor to the Director General, Rusatom Energy International, welcomed the gathered colleagues and, by setting the business and constructive tone for the future discussion, outlined the list of issues to be addressed.

Victor Glushko, Head of TCM NC Program, thanked the participants of the meeting and spoke about the recently concluded Conference of the Construction Complex of the Nuclear Industry Representatives, the decisions taken there, as well as tasks in hand. He also conveyed the words of Mr. Lokshin, First Deputy Director General for Operations Management at Rosatom, who declared 2020 the year of “practical application of TCM NC system”.

Points on the meeting agenda were:

  • The necessity for joint work together with design institutes on the inclusion of rapid estimation of proposed design solutions and on the development of standard requirements for design contracts and specifications;
  • Price survey Issues of construction resources at the Akkuyu NPP construction project;
  • The need to update the TCM NC methodology taking into account the peculiarities of the Akkuyu NPP construction project;
  • TCM NC information system's functionality for the purpose of budget establishment and budget tracking;
  • Audit plans for compliance with the Program requirements in industry organizations.

Another much disputed issues were problems of cross-border data transmission cross-border and the need to increase the timescale and the volume of work of TCM NC team on the implementation of the Program at NPP construction projects were.

One of the outcomes of the discussion was the agreement on joint visit of the managers of the TCM NC Program and Rusatom Energy International to the construction site of the Akkuyu NPP project to improve the level of cooperation between teams and for more focused work on solving project cost and time management issues.
